کوئیز هفتگی | شماره 12 – توصیف خانواده به زبان انگلیسی

سلام به همگی! من میترا لطفعلی هستم و این هفته میخوام به شما آموزش بدم که چطور خانواده تون به زبان انگلیسی توصیف کنین.

• توصیف تعداد افرادِ خانواده

There are four people in my family.

I’m one of three children.

I have seven people in my family. 

نکته: برای توصیف تعداد افراد خانواده، ما معمولاً تعداد کسانیکه در یک خانه با هم زندگی می‌کنن رو حساب می‌کنیم.

• توصیف برادر و خواهر و جایگاه شما

I have one sister and two brothers. I’m the youngest child. (or the oldest child)

I have one older brother and one younger sister. I’m the middle child.

I don’t have any brothers or sisters. I’m an only child.

• توصیف خانواده‌ی دور و نزدیک

I have a big extended family. My mother has four siblings and they all have children. So, I’ve got lots of cousins. (sibling: brothers or sisters)

My immediate family is pretty small, because I’m an only child.

There are six people in my close family: my parents, my sister, my brother and his wife, and me.

• توصیف بچه‌های یک خانواده

I have three kids, two daughters and a son.

We have a newborn son.

We’re expecting our first child. (expecting: the wife is pregnant)

خب، حالا که متوجه شدیم چطور میشه خانواده‌مون رو به انگلیسی توصیف کرد، بریم چند تا بیوگرافی بخونیم:

• My name is Jill. I’m one of five children. I have a fairly big immediate family, three brothers and one sister. I’m the oldest child in the family and my sister is the youngest. We all get along really well. But sometimes boys are a bit noisy and irritating. We don’t often visit our extended family because we are really busy with school and classes. I really like to spend more time with my grandparents as they’re so much fun to be with.

• I’m David. I grew up in an extended family as my grandparents and a couple of aunts and an uncle lived with us. We usually saw a lot of our relatives as well. I spent a lot of time with my cousins. We played together all the time. Back then, people had more communication with each other comparing to now. Maybe this was because life was less stressful and a lot easier.
